As recommended by the Fourth State Finance Commission a Fund is earmarked for Maintenance Fund (Road Assets & Non-Road Assets) for the Year 2015-16 to the Local Governments. Allotment for this amount is to be issued in three instalments (March, July and December). These funds are to be spent before 31st March of the Financial Year.


The Treasury officers shall treat this order as an allotment letter only when received with the digital signature of the Director of Treasuries through Treasury Intranet only.


The drawal of funds from the consolidated fund as per this allotment will be allowed only after exhausting the funds available in the concerned Public Account.


The head of Account from which the amount is to be drawn for each tier of Local Governments is given the Annex of this G.O.


Secretaries of Local Governments shall draw the amount from the revenue head of account viz 3054 for Road Assets and 3604 for Non Road Assets by producing fully vouched contingent bills.


Implementing officers should produce,  the contingent bills along with the allotment letter issued by the Secretary of the LSGI.
